Pennsylvania’s
Crime Victim’s
Compensation
Program is
committed to
helping victims
and their
families by
easing the
financial burden
that violent
crime imposes
upon them.
Covered expenses
include:
You may be
eligible for
Crime Victim’s
Compensation if:
OR
-
A Protection
from Abuse
Order (PFA)
was filed
-
The victim
has
cooperated
with law
enforcement
and courts
-
The claim
was filed
within two
years after
the crime
(exceptions
for
children)
-
The victim
was not
engaged in
an illegal
activity
-
Minimum loss
requirements
are met
There are no
costs for filing
a claim and in
special
circumstances an
emergency award
of up to $1,000
may be
considered.

forms, help
complete an
application,
answer questions
about the
program and
inform you of
any additional
services to
which you may be
