Parents

NOVA’s programs for parents assist in developing communication skills and trust with their children so they are comfortable discussing issues of safety. The following is a list and description of the programs we will deliver on-site to parents.

Bully Prevention: A Parent’s Guide

This program explores why bullies bully and the effects it has on their victims. Incorporated are practical, effective tips and resources to help children.

What Do I Say Now?

This program teaches parents how to talk to their children in a comfortable and appropriate way about touching rules.

Internet Safety (Teacher & Parent)

This training focuses on the potential online dangers for children, where and when to report questionable activities and the implementation of safety strategies.
