Keystone Crisis Intervention Team Project Coordinator:
Project Overview:
As a project of Network of Victim Assistance, the Keystone Crisis Intervention Team (KCIT) is a Pennsylvania state crisis response team, providing trained teams of individuals to serve any community within the Commonwealth where a crime has taken place. KCIT is funded through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.Since its first deployment in 2000, KCIT has provided crisis interventions to over 11,300 individuals. Types of crimes that KCIT teams have responded to include domestic violence homicides, school shootings, workplace shootings, bank robberies, terrorism and any other criminal incidents where there have been multiple victims or witnesses.Additionally, statewide KCIT provides a 25-hour training for new team members, advance training opportunities for experienced volunteers, simulation trainings, and specialty trainings for the community such as responses to trauma, resilience and coping, and death notification

Position Description:
This position is responsible for: grant writing; grant reporting; coordinating deployments; supporting volunteer team members; supervising full and part time staff who provide trainings; serves as the project liaison to the statewide advisory committee; attends various local and state meetings as project representative and plans the biennial statewide conference. The position does require some travel to present at statewide and national conferences, attend advisory meetings in Harrisburg and some occasional travel to Eastern Pennsylvania for project management related tasks. Social work, management, human services or related Master’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience will be considered). Supervision, volunteer coordinator, and project management experience.

Health Services Specialist: This is an exciting newly created position to expand the growing health care component for victims of sexual assault and interpersonal violence at the Network of Victim Assistance, located in Jamison, PA. This person will be responsible for outreach, education and training to the public health and medical community sectors on medical needs of sexual assault and interpersonal violence victims and other NOVA programs; including but not limited to, SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), the Child Advocacy Center, prevention education programs, etc. Reports to and works in collaboration with the SANE Coordinator.
Travel requirements within Bucks County. On call various weekends and weeknights.
Registered Nurse with SANE experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, public health, human services, or other related field preferred.
Salary range $45k-$50k

Development Assistant: Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA), a nonprofit organization in Jamison, PA serving victims of sexual assault and other crimes, seeks a part-time (15 to 18 hours per week) Development Assistant to join its team. This position will provide support for the Director of Development and be responsible for database management including reporting, analysis, data integrity and security. The Assistant will create mailing lists, coordinate direct mail appeal campaigns, and prepare acknowledgment letters. The Development Assistant will also be responsible for managing the grants process, including assisting with assembling grant applications, and insuring that all contract requirements are fulfilled. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of development experience, experience with donor management software (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred), solid writing skills, and strong computer and problem-solving skills. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE): Bucks County non-profit seeks Registered Nurses (RN) to act in the capacity of independent contractors to deliver specialized health care and forensic services at Bucks County emergency rooms to adults and adolescents who are victims of sexual assault. Responsibilities include providing on-call coverage for a minimum of 48 hours per month, attending periodic case review/staff meetings, and participation as needed in legal proceedings. Applicant must have at least one year of clinical experience, completed the 40 hour didactic SANE training course, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have good oral and written communication skills, and possess good organizational skills.
