Prevention Program Facilitator Part-Time: The Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative seeks to implement the Stewards of Children child sexual abuse community prevention program to 5% of the Bucks County adult population by January, 2021. The project, funded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), is a collaboration with PCCD and researchers from the Child Maltreatment Solutions Network (CMSN) at The Pennsylvania State University. As part of this effort, the Prevention Program Facilitators will be trained through Darkness to Light in the Stewards of Children program. Prevention Program Facilitators will receive training to become certified Stewards of Children facilitators. This position will report to coordinator for the Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative.

Qualified candidates must have flexible schedules with availability to work some days, nights, and weekends. Hours per week vary depending on program scheduling. Average anticipated hours are 5-15 hours per week but are not guaranteed. This is a great position for someone looking for a flexibly. Prevention Education Specialist Part-Time: The Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative is a joint effort between Penn State University, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and four counties in Pennsylvania, including Bucks County. NOVA was awarded the grant to implement The Safe and Healthy Communities initiative. The goal of the initiative is to implement a pilot prevention program that will reduce the rates of child sexual abuse through three strategic, cost-effective, and evidence-based prevention programs:
1. Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children Training for the community
2. Safe Touches – child sexual abuse prevention program for students
3. Parents as Teachers & Safe Care Family Strengthening programs

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE): Bucks County non-profit seeks Registered Nurses (RN) to act in the capacity of independent contractors to deliver specialized health care and forensic services at Bucks County emergency rooms to adults and adolescents who are victims of sexual assault. Responsibilities include providing on-call coverage for a minimum of 48 hours per month, attending periodic case review/staff meetings, and participation as needed in legal proceedings. Applicant must have at least one year of clinical experience, completed the 40 hour didactic SANE training course, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have good oral and written communication skills, and possess good organizational skills.
